The Guardian Templar are protectors and the anointed guardsmen of Havokk. They devote themselves to a life of noble servitude, believing that through the preservation of life and honorable duty, they will ascend to a life of eternal peace and prosperity beyond death. These noble souls defend the sanctity of life and will defend it to their last breath.

 

These specialized warriors are trained in extreme conditions, turning them into aspects of physical perfection and discipline. The signature tool of the Templar is the Shield, with which they are trained with deadly efficiency, almost more than other martial weaponry. This does not mean they are only capable of defense, though it is their professional standard to defend. Most Guardian Templars are proficient with several weapons, but the Shield is a part of their main standard.  

  

Avisary, current leader of the Guardian Templar, veteran of many battles, wields the sacred shield, “Svalinn Eterna”: a master-crafted shield made of mystical metals and rare components, bestowed upon the Guardian Templar who has shown truly exemplary duty. The Mystical Shield not only protects him, but also those near him. Avisary is a master of the Shield-fighting style developed by the order and has learned to use this equipment with brutal and terrifying force toward those who would seek to harm.

 

Having been born of a noble lineage of Dukes, it is no surprise that Avisary rose through the ranks of the Guardian Templar quickly, both because of his performance and his connection to high-ranking individuals. He is often sent on special tasks and missions of the utmost importance.  

  

Trial and tribulation are the life of the Templar, and through the various conflicts that he has been involved in, Avisary has developed a keen warrior intellect and become a paragon of martial prowess. He is widely known as being one of the fiercest warriors on Havokk, and his name alone strikes fear into the hearts of criminals. As leader of the Guardian Templar, he trains other Templars with an intense regimen that has since created an elite order of guardians to protect the realm. Using a shield as both a weapon and a defense, Avisary and the other Guardian Templar are widely known throughout Havokk as being nigh unstoppable, and their defensive capabilities are rarely matched.  

  

Through his work with the Guardian Templar, he developed a companionship with Rhogar Oathbreaker, who, until recent events, was thought to have been slain during a mission. Following the mission where Avisary thought Rhogar to be lost, he has dedicated himself to mastery of himself and training so that he might not fail to protect those in need again. However, once he realized that Rhogar was alive has now aligned himself with the Chancellors of the Void, this only furthered his resolve to be the greatest Guardian of Havokk that he can be.
