The first and most powerful of Lylath's ascended Archons, the elite group of warriors that defend against the darkness and purge all who would deny the sacred Light of existence. Danika was the first mortal chosen upon Havokk to become one of these elite warriors.

 

She was contacted by Lylath, under the guise of "the Matron": a benevolent being that sought to bring peace, justice, and prosperity to all. Hidden in half-truths, Lylath offered great power and ability to Danika, with the condition that she do great good with it.

 

Chosen as the first because of her profound, benevolent spirit, Lylath originally mistook Danika as the current incarnation of Uutu and thought that by offering the power of the Archon, she would expose the other deity of the light. Instead, she empowered a noble Mortal spirit into a Hero of the people. Hesitant initially to offer this power to mortals after watching their actions, she found a light in Danika that gave her hope of defeating Aribus and the Void once and for all here on Havokk. 

 

This newfound power and ability only empowered Danika's good nature, and she now uses her abilities to seek out and destroy the forces of Darkness and Chaos that would seek to harm others. However, she herself, having never been outwardly violent on her own, had her new abilities and expertise bestowed upon her in an almost instinctual way, making her capable of defending herself and others as something of a reflex more than a learned skill. This warrior persona and knowledge are a gift from Lylath: ancient wisdom and experience of combat from an eternity of war against the dark in her home realm.

 

Danika can generate powerful blasts of light, manifest shields, items, and armor made of condensed photon energy, and summon various weapons capable of slicing through objects with the intensity and power of a star’s energy.

 

Danika's true goal is only to see a peaceful world, and she fears that with this great power that she claimed, she has brought devastation. She works towards a bright future but is wary of releasing her full strength, for fear that it may cause her to lose herself to Lylath's control.

Card Effect:

Action: Banish the top card of each player's deck. Heal Danika of 1 damage for each Non-Light card banished this way. 

Ongoing: Danika gets +1 ATK and +1 AC for each different EXP value among cards you have banished this game.

Ongoing: Light Spells you play have [Purge]. At the beginning of your turn, if you have banished 50 or more cards, you win the game.

Danika - Campaign Format Information

Campaign Format Stats:

  • Danika can fly.
  • Danika gets +3 to any Spirit checks made for Light Alignment Spellcraft cards, effects, or abilities played.
  • Danika gets +3 when performing any checks to resist a Dark alignment action, effect, or ability.
  • Danika can generate Armor, Weapons, and Shields made of Light, but she cannot break the rules associated with rule equipment when creating items this way. This means she cannot equip two weapons simultaneously, or two Shields, or two armors, etc. (unless the Lore Master allows this).
    • The Objects she creates have no weight capacity. As an action, Danika can use the following ability: “Action: Create an Item token card of one of the following items and attach it to Danika: “Solar Edge”, “Photon Shield”, or “Solar Wrap; EXP Value 6; AC +3; Equip; Ongoing: Whenever the equipped character is dealt damage for the first time each turn, you may [Purge].” If these Items would leave play for any reason they are removed from the game entirely instead.
