“In the presence of chaos, there is opportunity. Chaos is that which reality is written upon.”

-Chimeraxion

When the three renegade beings escaped to Havokk, Aribus, and Lylath sought to contain Ytaxia within the Void, taking advantage of its weakened state from their recent battle against H'Kon. While defending itself from its kin, Ytaxia released a blast of power and essence before being contained by Aribus and Lylath. The resulting energy created a single crystalline flower at the epicenter of the crater formed by the blast.

The bloom began to influence the environment around it and, over time, spread chaos energies through Havokk's realm. Eventually, these energies amassed into a form, and Chimeraxion, Herald of Ytaxia, was born. This being is an incarnation of Chaos and Life, being immensely powerful, having been spawned directly from Ytaxia's essence.

The original Ytaxia bloom's essence, and with the help of Chimeraxion, were able to create a Nexxusite-empowered fortress at the heart of Havokk's dense jungle in the Ruins of Agnememnon, the fallen Nelven city. This surge of magical energies drew many to it, and those individuals became the first of many now known as the “Order of the Remnant” – the devout followers of Ytaxia and the embodiment of chaos upon Havokk (otherwise known as Ytaxians).

Because the bloom itself was formed in the Ruins of Agnememnon, a source of intense magical energy on Havokk, this helped hide the growing essence from the likes of Aribus and Lylath, which is how Chimeraxion was able to construct a physical form without being destroyed by the renegade deities. Now that the energies permeate Havokk, and with enough devout followers, Chimeraxion and the Order of the Remnant are strong enough to defend themselves against would-be invaders.

Chimeraxion’s physical form is capable of reconstructing on command, as well as allowing it to constantly evolve new adaptations and features. Despite never being outwardly violent towards the other species inhabiting Havokk, but rather because of its wild and unpredictable abilities, Chimeraxion and the other Ytaxians are feared across the realm. Chimeraxion rarely interacts with outsiders, and its true purpose and intentions are unknown.

Those who pledge themselves to the Ytaxians and those who are peaceful with them are allowed to live amongst them, and in time have been known to evolve and change themselves, as does the wildlife and environment surrounding the Nexxusite fortress. Many believe that Chimeraxion is something of an avatar, and once it releases its master from the Void, it will serve as the physical vessel to which Ytaxia will be reborn.

Chimeraxion can control, evolve, and change these beings at will as well. Its intentions in the grand scheme of events are unknown, but its solemn nature makes it difficult to learn more about it. Among Chimeraxion’s abilities, it is also able to commune directly with Ytaxia’s consciousness through the Ytaxia bloom, despite its creator being imprisoned in the Void.

Example: Encounter against a Hero enemy – Chimeraxion, Herald of Ytaxia, Chaos avatar, and pinnacle of Ytaxian evolutionary might. Chimeraxion begins to absorb the ambient Chaos energy emitted from the Ytaxia bloom.
